Acquisition of Tecnogeo Group, Brazil

Keller has acquired Brazilians leading geotechnical company Tecnogeo Group

Keller, the world’s largest independent ground engineering specialist, has acquired Tecnogeo Group, a leading geotechnical company in Brazil. The Group operates in three divisions: Tecnogeo, focused on small diameter techniques and jet-grouting, Speceng, with core competencies in D-walls and piles and Stabtecno, a mass mixing and drains solution provider. The Tecnogeo Group employs approx. 600 employees and has revenues of about 25 m€. Tecnogeo will be integrated as Business Unit into Keller’s EMEA organization.

“With this acquisition we carry forward our growth strategy by at the same token strengthening our leading position in the Brazilian geotechnical ground engineering business, both, technically and geographically. While Keller in Brazil already holds strong positions in vibro, deep soil mixing and driven piling, Tecnogeo is the country leader in “geotechnical work” and renown for sophisticated solutions. Geographically, Tecnogeo is concentrated in Sao Paolo whereas Keller home base is in Rio de Janeiro”, Thorsten Holl, President EMEA, declared.

“As member of Keller we have now the best premises to develop our business sustainably with the opportunity to constantly grow our business”, Fabio Azem, Head of Tecnogeo, added.

Keller is the world’s largest independent ground engineering specialist, providing technically advanced and cost-effective foundation solutions to the construction industry. With annual revenue of around € 2.0 bn, Keller has approximately 10,000 staff world-wide. Keller is the clear market leader in North America and Australia; it has prime positions in most established European markets and a strong profile in many developing markets
